Autex Greenstuff is NZ's leading brand of polyester insulation made in New Zealand. This product is formaldehyde-free and made with up to 70% recycled PET (e.g. recycled coke bottles). Autex has been made in New Zealand for many years and is NZ's premium brand of polyester insulation.
Polyester is very easy to install, made from the same material as duvet inners (no respiratory and itchy side effects that some people experience with fibreglass), and staples up easily using a standard staple gun. These can be installed using the joist method or stapled to the underside of the joists, as shown in the photo, to create a complete thermal envelope.
Full instructions provided. No experience is necessary. Anyone can do it, and results are instant.
Polyester underfloor insulation does not hold moisture (so timber can breathe) or requires electrical wiring to be prewrapped (to prevent fire risk) like other underfloor products.
Also acts as a remarkable sound absorber even underfloor, making your home quieter and more cozy feeling.
This product measures 17.5m2 per bale. When you purchase, please specify the width of the product you want in each bale. You can choose from 450mm, 500mm, 600mm, or 650mm.
